Is it me, the camera angle or are they sooted to one side, indicating poor gas flow, must be adding to pressure build up and contributing to an early demise....
Oh no don't scare me again I've only just got the CEL light out!!! Good news though it must be the camera angle as they weren't sooted. Phew.

Didn't mean to scare anyone, just commenting that oddly both looked sort of 'fluffy' to the outer side away from the main flow area that is pinker...

Hi Klive,

I am interested in knowing how those new cats of yours are doing after nearly a month on? Having a 2002 Spyder - I don't really need to say any more about the current issue that I have and the options that I have looekd as as you have done it all before!

Appreciate your views and advice.

Well the CEL has stayed off and I've completed about 800 miles including horribly slow traffic and spurts of upto 130 down the autbahns.
I've had no problems with road humps which was my initial concern.
Have I felt any extra power as they are slightly bigger and the squished bits have gone? No, but then I probably wouldn't notice a slight difference.
I would get a photo for you but it needs to be up on ramps to do so. Whereabouts are you located.

I am located just outside Basildon, so another potential Essex to Cardiff trip.
Did they replace & re-connect the sensors, or bypass them?

Thanks againn

All 4 lambdas are back in place and functioning. Fronts are in the original points, rears are in new.
If you want to take a look, let me know as I'm not so far away in Harlow.
