Ouch but you can never predict the future or I would still have some of the numerous Escort Mexicos, RS2000 etc that I had back in the day

It's crazy, isn't it? My cousin has an early (2004) Gallardo, formerly owned by Martin Brundle and every year it goes up a bit more in value. It's a manual which makes it more valuable it seems, and he can drive it for 2-3k miles per year and the increase in value more than covers it's annual maintenance costs - lucky him!

Why? You had your fun with it, moved on to other things. I could have kept lots of my older cars, be quids in, but would have missed out on so much.

In my case, it was a nightmare car as it was very unreliable so the least it could have done was to have made a little profit for me but of course that's not the reason we buy cars.
When it was working well though, absolutely stunning!

That Balboni price is silly. There is a lower mileage one for sale at £170k.

That is very true, I mean, there was no one willing to buy it for £100k back then which was the market price.

To be honest, if someone buys it for £350k then they need to have their bumps read and deserve to get ripped off.
