The Cali is growing on me a little as well Andy, after seeing 3 of them the other day at GP Birmingham, they are a good looking car.

I really did hate it when it came out Adam.....But I think its one of my fav current Ferrari......

Just had a look through the service history and bills for then GTV in detail....The original bill of sale is there along with every onvoice for every bit of work the car has had through tis life no matter how small......Every MOT, tax disc..You name it its there................Mind you being a two owner car helps.........This is a well looked after car.

Meant to say that when I was coming home after picking the GTV up I was enjoy some tunes and the V6 engine and over took an AA break down vehicle and on the back was a silver V6 GTV.....A sobering site.......Please don't break down litlle Afla.

When I sang the songs of praise for my Alfa Romeo GT 3.2 V6 a couple of years back on the other other forum, I was mocked for even trying to compare it to a Maserati but the truth is they are both GTs, they both offered similar accomodation, although the Maserati had slightly more room, and they both made a song when you put you foot down. I claimed that for everyday driving around London the Alfa Romeo was a lot easier to live with and I still believe the same today.

Yes the Maserati is faster but for everyday driving you would never know it without risking your license and in my opinion without the benefit of Larini exhaust the Alfa Romeo had the sweeter sound over the Maserati.......that V6 is still the best V6 on the planet.

I never for a moment regretted buying the Maserati but I do regret selling the Alfa for the stupid £9300 I got for it. It was the best colour combination black with tan leather, had only done 25,000 miles and had a full service history with the cambelt, wheels and new tyres just done. What a plonker I was to have sold it and as most of you know I was the kind of driver who never knocked the stuffing out of it.........it was likebrand new

Congrats Andy (elec seats on these is quite rare too).

They cost about £26k new as basic....though there was quite a variation over the years as at one stage (...can't remember when but possibly about 2001) they slashed the list prices by about £6k, and they crept back up slowly though never to the same point.

Mine still ranks as one of my all time favourite cars....
