Slow drivers

I'm not sure if I am the only one who has noticed this, and gets bothered by it, but it seems the speed that some drivers has dropped to the 15 to 20 mph mark when driving on roads with a 30 mph limit. We are all aware thanks to the absolute lunacy of local Council's that many areas e.g. now all of central London have in many cases an utterly absurd 20 mph limit (as I've said before to deter IMO people from driving), but the utterly hopeless drivers who lack any confidence have now begun to drive at that speed and slower everywhere!
I was in France about a week or two ago, driving from Calais (Channel Tunnel) to Versailles and Disney Paris (I now know I'm too old for roller-coaster's!), and apart from their roads being about a million times better than tye rutted tracks that pass for roads here - their bad roads are better than our good roads, but few seemed bothered by speed limits locally or on the Autoroutes.
Maybe in Europe they are not breeding the nanny state we have over here.

The other day I read the Archbishop of Canterbury got done for the heinous crime of 25mph in a 20 zone in London.

I've noticed this too, and boy they get upset when you over take them doing 40mpoh in a 60mph. So much so they speed up!!!

The 60mph no lights lane 3 mafia were out in full force on the M1 last night ....

I'm not proud, but I may have lost my cool once or twice!

Nobody apart from me trying to use lane 1, oh bar one BMW driver (genuine shock).

All I want to do is set 70 and relax, not get held up by these muppets.

Worse than slow drivers are drivers that don’t know the size of their car or have the ability to anticipate the road ahead.
This evening M25 and local A41 were both closed / blocked, so traffic chaos on local roads and lanes, This was made worse by drovers unable to judge distances, but he width of their or simply acting like sheep by following the car in front and blocking the road. :mad:

I’ve yet to go through a width restriction or multi-storey in my car, so I’ll keep stum.

Having just driven across Europe and beyond, I feel I am in a position to comment on this. The (Yugo) Slavic nations are generally Ok apart from t0ssers in big, black SUVs. Bulgarians are so-so but the Turks are really, fecking bad. Driving through Istanbul, well; imagine 20 rats in a sack, then 20 sacks of 20 rats. If you put all 400 rats in a very small carrier bag, that’ll give you an insight as to what it’s like. If your wheels stop turning for any reason, the idiot behind will point out you shortcoming. Red lights, crossing traffic, pedestrians, children with small animals, stop and it WILL be pointed out. However, the worst of them all are the Boxhead Krauts. They drive like 1943 is the new year. They are aggressive, psychotic and generally f*cling mental. A case in point; a sudden downpour, walls of spray, and a flooded Autobahn. I was slowing down from 70mph despite having 1300 miles to go in a tight time scale. Past me came a Black BM SUV at what I assessed to be well over 120mph. Literally 1 minute later, the wall of brake lights persuaded me to stop, and I stayed there for the next 5 hours as the authorities scraped up some c*nt off the road. Then we were led off the Autobahn into the nether regions of the 4th Reich which took about another hour to get back on track. And again, on the way back, some black Audi A3 SUV decided being a c*nt was the way forward but I disagreed. Tbh, I’m not proud of what happened next, but he might now have second thoughts about flashing his headlights to the car in front 100 yards in front as he blasts down into 3 lanes of traffic with an overtake speed of over 80 mph. So, whilst some silly old giffer might be holding back suitable progress, there are worse things out there. My advice, get a fast car with a loud exhaust and snot past them. Here endeth the lesson.

I was driving down my road today, overtaking a parked range rover and she started to pull out straight into me as Im along side her! No signal, no check over her shoulder.... my horn works!

I know I'm driving an ev, but it's bright lime green!

They're not even elderly lane hoggers, different ages, races etc just bad ignorant drivers.

Only Kawasakis are allowed to be Lime Green. THAT IS THE LAW!
