I was always a Kawasaki fan ant to be fair probably shouldn't be a live from riding in the late 70's early 80's.
My twin brother had a RD250 I had a KH250 for the extra cylinder then on to my first Z the 650 that was a Good ride back then until I got my Z1000 and that I should have kept.

Well I’d guess so, anything pre sept 1982 can be put on the historic register (end of 40th year)
Hmmm....that gives me an idea....dirty protest of two strokes doing a tour of central london....the air will literally turn blue!

I saw an RD250 B or C on the road in the week; that gorgeous turquoisey blue heavy metallic. A rare site to see any two stroke these days.
Couple of mates had 250A’s in the blue colour, brother’s mate had a 250B in that dark orange/red colour.
I was at at a car show in Gt Yarmouth a few years ago and an immaculate 350B turned up, it had side reflectors on either side of the frame downtube meaning it had been imported from America. I always thought the 350 was made for the UK market because the insurance use to go from 225cc to 350cc.
Lovely bikes but if you see one now don’t they look small.

So I've took the plunge and finally taking bike test.
Already done theory test (which was a bit weird but I passed it).
Had a couple of lessons to prepare (slow repeated figure of 8 was hardest bit)
Got part A and B practicals booked in.
How hard are these? Hearing differing reports. Any recent stories / anecdotes / fails?

No recent anecdotes but “indicators, indicators, indicators.” Remember to cancel them.

I did mine a too many years back. Echo the indicators. It wasn't any harder than my driving test. In some respects easier as you have no one sitting next to you. Might all be different by now.

Did mine about 30 years ago in Crawley. Best part was the examiner getting stuck at a level crossing after I had crossed it. Kept in radio contact all the way back to the test centre but couldn't see me. Passed. Much easier than the car test in Chichester back in 1984 where the examiner shouted at me for not stopping quickly enough on the emergency stop test but passed me anyway. Weird world we live in.
