Small coolant leak

Hi guys I have a small coolant leak from the water pump O ring. Is there any problem with adding one of those tablets to the expansion tank that seal radiator holes.

I don’t think it’ll work. It’s a shaft rotating in a seal not a hole that needs plugging.

Yes; don't do that. Even if the problem is actually the radiator. Maybe especially if the problem is the radiator.

I also had a small coolant leak from the water pump o ring. Took the advise of a very knowledgeable member on ML and tried one tablet. To my surprise, it worked! That was over 3 years ago.

Glad to hear...but still wouldn't go that route, myself, except if absolutely necessary to buy time to make a real repair. "Fix-a-Flat," if you will...
