I was trying to do some research before I bought one of these to find people's experience on forums but didnt seem much has been posted about these. Where I park I don't have access to power to trickle charge it and I don't use the car often so risk the battery draining. So I decided to buy one and thought I'd share. All I can say is, 5 weeks sitting there, it started up first time with only a slight hesitation, so it seems to work! It only cost me a tenner at Maplin (there were bigger/expensive ones but the guy said this should be more than sufficient). Plugs straight into the live cigarette lighter in the boot (note the one in the cabin is not live when car is switched off). Oh, and it appears to be rain proof!
