I was thinking the same George, cheap even by Australian standards. I am just not sold on a diesel Alfa!

It is definitely a beautiful looking car the GT and especially in that colour. Good luck with the sale! :)

Nor was I until I drove one, now one of the transformed. I have a Maserati for when I want to party, a Spider for when the suns out and the GT for everything else.

Bought and repaired for £6k, 6 years/60k miles and sold for nearly £4k, so whats this about Alfas depreciating?

If you can get past the stigma of the Cats its a very cheap route to low cost driving and i would do it again, maybe for when my daughters start driving.

Pretty good going. At least I have an idea of what mine is worth.

Although saying that I can't see me selling it any time soon. I've got quite attached to the old girl.

Well, I waved her off on Saturday morning...another one released into the wild!

Not heard anything since so thats a good thing.

Audi Q3 turns up tomorrow, quite excited, not had a brand new car for years (I have bought several for others family members), think my last one was the 3.2 Alfa GTV back in 2004.

Ok, its an Audi, but for daily bombing around, I have got to the age that I just want something reliable and new, and its always good to try a different manufacturer. I have the Spider, the GS and the Classic Opel so I can still take out what I fancy on the day if the Audi turns out to be a bit dull...it will just make me appreciate my Italian mistresses more!
