Hi All,
Have got a fault code on the boost control valve but am trying to find where it is in the 3200 engine bay? I haver a copy of a 3200GT service manual but for some reason I have all pages bar one, the turbo boost control page is missing! Can't believe it! Anway, thought someone must know, could it be under one of the air filters? All speculation welcome. Thanks.

Thanks Almichie

Do you know if its below the air filter or is it spottable from the top of the engine? I and a friend spent quite a bit of time looking for it but were unable to find it.

Cheers
Peter

As Almichie says I recall there was a significant thread where someone found they had a corroded connector that affected their boost - new connectors and problem fixed. If I recall the boost control valve is just to the left of the throttle body when looking from front of car - You have to remove the unit to get to the connectors. I think there is a loose pipe that passes under the plenum cover plate that connects to it so try and trace that pipe back.

Thanks Steve, that's a big help. I found the previous thread and there was a picture attached so that clarified things. Now I know where to look!

Yes it's near the Throttle body, follow the pipe which vents to air sitting under the TB cover and it will connect to the top nipple on the Pierburg Valve (Boost Solenoid Valve), recently I replaced mine. Make sure you clean the 12V connector too as these can get gunky.
