Can you enlighten me guys, what exactly is FB suspension? My only complaint about my GT-S is a slight vagueness to the steering which I believe is down to Skyhook as I didn't have that when i drove a Stradale.

As for batteries going flat, I just returned from 4 weeks Stateside and the car fired up first turn of the key, no reluctance, no conditioner, nothing. Simply locked it and left.

Ok, had my first proper drive of it today after the paint correction guy did his magic. The usual caveats apply, the seats are too hard, and the Bose is pants.I also think it will take a bit of getting used to how to save clutch life etc. A few more questions if I may..

I have a slight monentary vibration when pulling away slowly if the front wheels are turned at more than half lock.Only had it a couple of times. Any ideas? It actually feels like how a manual clutch might judder.

Also at one point after a slow descent on a downward hill, had a burning smell come through the middle facia vents, I assume I fried the clutch momentarily, possibly keeping it in first?

The drivers seat sliding for rear access, seems to have a slow mind of its own. Sometimes it'll do it sometimes, it won't.

On the plus side,It sounds wonderful, and it was nice to do some some brief but spirited driving with the family all in the car.It goes well enough when from 50 onwards, there's no squeaks or rattles, and the owner has even left me his music collection on the Hard drive!

Also hada really good quote from my paint guy to d the chrome window waist rails and door handles black.Decisons.....

How much, sjc? I have a black-wheel itch that might need scratching, and if I get them done the chrome handles and window surrounds will need dealing with. My eldest son, a tart, also seems to think a carbon wrap on the mirrors would be good. Hmmm.... A step too far..?

£175 to do the chrome window surround and door handles in body colour, including the striping to get it to bind.He has just had the car for a day and a half, removing several pin head dents, scratches and other 4 year old car related stuff, mopped every panel 2/3 times and put a glaze on it, and charged me £280.I was going to have the chrome bits done while it was there, but thought I'd get used to everything first. Now I've got it back, I think I'll have it done.I'd like carbon for the handles, window surround and mirrors as well, along with some carbon bits inside, but I'm concerned that carbon pieces, along with the remaining chrome, plastic and piano black it will look too disjointed or a bit mix and match.

What colour is your car? Like you I'm concerned about the mix 'n' match appearance. The first one I drove was Grigio Touring (the light silver) with black wheels. Dealer spec'd model. It had carbon inside, body-colour handles and I *think* black windows surrounds. Looked very good. Lancaster had a white one in the workshop last week with black or carbon everything, from exhaust tips to door handles to underneath the doors. Looked a bit much, imho.
