Yes but in those 8000 miles you have not fallen off the road.

To be fair my 1984 911 only had 231bhp but gobbled rear tyres in 6000 miles. Maximum

I fitted Mich PS4S all round on by GT, no issues with suitability or handling, however one tyre developed a bad bulge within weeks, asked Mich to look at it as was obviously a manufacturing defect as its had no heavy impact, and only done 600 miles yet they declined.
Sent photos, and scans of the receipts etc, but even after I appealed they still refused to take any ownership of my situation which was that I had a faulty tire.
As a result, no matter how good Mich are I wont be buying Mich again.
Customer support is very important, especially with high cost items, if its not there, not point buying.

Did you take it to whoever fitted your tyres 1st? That'd be the usual course of action, as they have the links to the rep etc. Easier than trying to get through yourself I'd have thought.

Yep, in most jurisdictions it is the retailer who has a responsibility to you.

I'd have thought this would be the retailers issue, I know when I had a tyre that developed an issue within weeks of fitting I contacted the supplier who immediately dispatched a replacement and this was an online supplier they didn't even want me to send the old one back, I guess that saved them disposal costs.

I too had to replace a PS4 in Oct 23 because of a bulge, tread was fine after 10.5k miles and 2.6 years.
