Hi all

One of the front door loud speaker cover plates fell off this morning. Had a quick look on Eurospares and they seem to be very cheap to replace - £3.73! The optional hifi speakers also seem to be available too - are they a worthwhile upgrade from the standard speakers and are they interchangeable? I'd be grateful for advice. thanks, Peter.

Ah didn't realise I could get spare ones I took apart my door cards yesterday to fit new front component speakers to find that the passenger door speaker grille had a broken lug and was hot glued in place

Regarding the soaker upgrade I highly recommend the JL Audio speakers... the front slot straight in with very little modification while the mid 5x7s need some adaption as the hole in the body work is small for an uprated speaker.

I removed the rear parcel shelf speakers and replaced them with an under seat sub installed in the void in the parcel shelf area. The sub is self powered but to drive the speakers a little harder than the NIT I fitted a 150w digital mini amp in the centre console
