In order to evaluate the properly health of your car, the specialist will need to run proper diagnostics for which they will need the SD2 kit for your car.
That's the first question to ask gemotori

BTW - I use Emblem Sports Cars and am very happy with their service, knowledge and friendliness. But then I'm lucky to be living in Poole.
I'd recommend Emblem to you even though it's a trek. They have many customers from the Channel Isles, which demonstrates their reputation.

Hi there. Great to have another member in Cornwall. To add to Karatemaseratis info I have also used the SW lotus centre in Lifton as they work on lots of exotica in addition to being the regional lotus specialist. My car is an early Non ODB2 compliant 3200 so I use unidiag for diagnostics. Regular servicing inc cam belt changes twice, and general repairs/upgrades I have had done in Gunnislake. For aesthetic items I had wheels refurbed in Plymouth, excellent job and under £150 for all 4, had the dashtop leather refixed after bubbling at a fantastic trimmers in Launceston for the princely sum of £20 and have a contact for bodywork in Upton Cross. RPB motors in Kelly Bray have a proper 4 wheel laser alingment machine and did full set up for me inc re-shimming. The proprietor there is a TVR aficionado and very helpful and generally enthusiastic. Hope this helps.
