Split coolant hose - replaced diy :)

So I had my first break down in my GTS last week, just driving along when suddenly bucket loads of steam poured from the engine bay, was quite scary as I thought it was on fire first of all- the hose split and was pouring water onto the exhaust manifold, should of seen the massive amounts of steam

So I got onto fixing it, 4 hours later I had managed to get access to it !











So the new hose arrived today (direct from Italy no uk stock)

Took me about 2 hours to get it all back together, all seems good! So I'm happy again

Also ordered a new coolant tank as that is starting to crack

Nice one hope you checked the small hose at the left-hand rear over the bell housing that usually does that.

Visually it did look fine, if it was easy enough I would of replaced it as well but room was very tight back there so decided to leave it for now

Send me the part number mate and will try to order one, I think it's worth changing the ballooned one in the pic too!!

and is it just me, or is that gigantic valley in the 2nd pic just screaming "supercharge me"?

6hrs of work. Good job mate! Not sure I could of handled dedicating that much time.
