I did shed a tear when i won 2 awards, i had to reach for the Kleenex.

I suspect that Dem is referring to those occasions when you're completely bunged up and ready to explode to the extent that you're red raw and throbbing, indeed you probably can't see straight and your mind won't focus on anything other that the matter at hand.

In those circumstances all you can do is reach for the Kleenex and relieve that pressure.

Oh, you do know I'm talking about a cold don't you!
