Sticky buttons on my 2008 GT. Some of you guys must have similar problems.
I recently stripped the audio section and it has got rid of the soft touch coating and left the plastic underneath looking pristine. The button graphics have not been affected at all.
I used a meths and a large number of cotton buds.
My concern is, will the heater buttons on the section below react to the same treatment? I have heard that in some cases you can remove all the black coating including the lettering leaving completely white buttons.
Has anyone been brave enough to try stripping this section.
