Right, I'm not sure I could live with the colour combo. It's a shame as it is the only one on the market now in UK that fits the bill on 4 seater and miles etc...

Plus it feels a safer buy from a main dealer. Keep looking at it Phil as it may get better each time you do. For me it's a unique colour scheme which I like......

No, still looking, just got to be patient.

I called them up as I wanted to know some history on the car.

Didn't think it would around for long. Good price from a main dealer. Blue may have been an issue for some but there are people out there yo that just don't want black inside.....

Saxton one may well be onsale still. It's the miles that put me off that one. Maybe if it started with a 4?

Good news for those that believe they are the biggest performance exotica bargain out there at the mo ;)

(well. a MC Shift is a better bargain, but misses a tad of the exotica of the Strad)

Best wishes with your search though. Have you placed any "WANTED" adds around? You may find an owner thinking to jump ship.

What mileage or price Phil....Or both. Thing is when it first came up the miles look high but as the time goes on and others are creeping up it doesn't feel so high now. Depends how much you are putting on it a year as well I suppose. Still seems on the face of it a cheap car......Isn't it almost 10k cheaper then the Granito one ? It didn't wear it's miles well on the interior if my memory we se me right. One will come along Phil I'm sure.

Mileage to a certain extent really. The interior on this is better as it is a lighter exterior colour and I like the Carbon pack on it. White would suit weddings.

I meant the price should start with a £4x,xxxx really to beat depreciation. It would be a hard sell in 2 years at 60 k miles and with that colour combo. The cheaper I can get it now the less I need when I sell it if that makes sense?

The in cheap - out cheap argument makes sense. But look at Strad prices. In the UK at least, 60K was the old rule of thumb price 2 years ago when I bought mine, and still is. The millage: cheap in cheap out applies perfectly. If it has been well maintained and you plan to do little millage, you can already guess worst case scenario maintenance items. The CCB brakes would need a good inspection though, which is very easy to do in a PPI. AFAIK as long as the car is not tracked you should get 100K miles from them.

4xx sounds crazy for a halo model Maserati - the MCV's, what are they costing now? The Strad is the next gen MCV (esp. 2 seaters) - (hopefully ;)

Only 15 (max) UK RHD MCV's, which helps values. As does the more manageable size. But right now, Strads and MCVs are about the same price - mid/high fifties for nice ones.

Strads have dropped a good £10k over the last 18 months or so, and are now brilliant value. If the Saxton car was a 2wd I'd by very tempted. Or, as Phil says, if it started with a 4.

That's the one thing the Granito one needed inside the carbon bits. That grey that was standard is really dull....

Looking at the few that are for sale that white private sale 2 seater on Auto Trader looks a good buy....54k, low miles and had new discs which must be loads to replace.
