I have my original modded rear boxes for sale .

These are straight though with no baffling, they look totally original apart from the welds but these can't been seen from beneath the car.

I modified these but found with my de-cats they were just too loud for me.

These would sound exactly like the ones Spartacus modified, please see his posts for video clips.

I would prefer collection either from my house or a meet somewhere. I can box them up if you arrange the courier but they are heavy.

I will be at the Ace this Thursday but would need a bit of notice as they are still on my car .

I am open to offers as I need to raise some funds for my wheel refurb.

PM me if you are interested.

Hmm do I dont i. In box me what you want for them. See if I can afford them.

Steve - I wouldn't change valved GS boxes for straight-throughs. You can get your GS boxes modified for not a lot of cash and retain the control to make them quieter when you want/need to. PM Benny and he will advise on cost and process.

Yo Chris ur gonna be screaming now haha

Well, I doubt I'll ever get close to the likes of Benny. In fact I like to keep as much distance as possible from Benny ;) but I feel at Brunty I should be able to put up a reasonable show.

Checked out Spartacus' rig at the Ace, and mine should be pretty much identical :D

Have you got an X-pipe to fit as well? If not, you won't hear much difference from standard. When Matt got his GS boxes modified we played around and fitted his standard system with an X-pipe which gave a small but noticeable difference. We then refitted his standard centre box and put on his modified (straight through) rear boxes which made no discernible difference. We then put on his X-pipe on with his modified rears and that made a big difference. You need to change two of the three (cats, centre pipe and back boxes) exhaust sections to make it noticeably louder. Martyn put on an X-pipe at the same time as his modified rears.

You sold me the X-pipe last year!

So it'll be straight through from the cats to the tail, same as Martyn.

Of course, he has more steering wheels than are normally required :)
