You can change them with the bumper on but it's a bit of Flaf , just one word of advice put plenty of masking tape around the exhuast apertures on the bumper to protect the paint work . I only did this on Thursday and took me a 1.5 hours on axle stands . But I done it three times now so got quite good at it .

Still struggling to get the bumper off!

Might just give it all to Feli: Wishbone, back boxes, rear sensor. Ready for Brunty

Here's how I did it;

1. Loosen rear wheel bolts
2. Jack up car as high as you can and place on axle stands
3. Remove wheels
4. Remove rear wheel arch liners
5. Undo exhaust clamps
6. Loosen all mounting nuts 4 per side
7. Unbolt the mounting brackets holding the exhaust just behind the xpipe section ( this helps with dropping the exhuast to get the rears off )
8. Remove the nuts on the hanging brackets and carefully wigle and pull and remove the boxes , this is where you start cursing and swearing and glad you protected the paintwork .
9. Fit in reverse

The 4200 doesn't have an undertray. The back bumper is a piece of p!ss to take off but can be a drag if you don't know where all the bolts are. There are 3 x 10mm wing to bumper bolts each side which can be accessed by removing the boot liners. The ones on the drivers side are behind a plate, which mounts some relays, held on by 3 x 10mm nuts. There are 4 star drive bolts (visible) along the top of the bumper and two, IIRC, 13 mm bolts underneath the boot floor next to, and above, the rear boxes. There is a screw at the bottom of the arch liner on each side. When all these are removed, pull the sides of the bumper out, but not too far, and slide the whole thing back. If you need to, you can then remove the parking sensor lead which goes to a box next to the right rear light box. Assembly is the reverse of the disassembly.
