You're not wrong Dem. It's exactly what I want in an AC. I've decided I like red the most, prefer auto and Nigel's car has had all of the engine work done. The previous owner also spent a small fortune on various parts before Nigel's ownership as well. Probably the most sorted, usable AC in the UK right now. I've been talking with Nigel about it, but with my building work starting at home I cannot divert any of the cash as we've just upped the work and budget significantly. Apparently we need an even bigger house and new kitchen more than we need a Maserati! :sad3:

Timing issues for me too. I need to get my car serviced, warranted, then sold. Nipped over to see the car, it is stunning.

Mines due a service in april so will get it done then decide what to do.....

Good luck with the sale Nige, she looks the business. I would have thought you would have asked for more, up near the £18K mark at least? Have you got your eye on a particular GS already?

If you price the car sensible it will sell and thats what Nigel has done...........Made it attractive so it will not sit around.........When I sold my TVR T350T I put it up for 19995 when all others were around 21/23k.....Most had sat around for a while where as mine went within 48 hours for the asking price......Yes I could have put it up for 2k more but then I may have been sitting on her for months........Make it attractive and they will sell.....

I agree Andy, but this is an AC, which are now getting quite rare and will command a premium over the normal 3200GT.

Yep they will Rob.......17k is a premium over a standard 3200......But the fact remains with these cars...Lots look at price and will be drawn to a car on price first...I think Nigel has priced his car well and should see some punters knocking at his door...

In that condition Nige she is well worth £17K, if you want £16K, stick to your guns, everybody wants something for nothing if they can get it.

Just popping this one back up to the top. Had lots of interest, but nobody buying just yet! I'm told the market has been pretty slow recently for some reason, but should be picking up now.

We also went to the local Aston Martin dealership yesterday; bad move....the Vantage looks sooo good in the flesh, so is definitely creeping ahead of the GS in the replacement stakes!

I love the aston but little common here, the badge is loosing its appeal as i know someone whos on 20k a year living at home but got one on finance, its the way it is in london, most people get expensove cars as they are at home hence they are young and sometimes rudeboys that own some beutiful cars.....the maser has not gone on their radar yet....GS for me just for that...

Nige, you know I love the Vantage and after sitting in one a few weeks ago again I've fallen in love all over again.....The high waist line the compactness of them......Stunning....They still look as fresh today as they did in 2004......Wouldn't blame you going for one....
