Thats ironic, because I am trying to do the opposite, have the exhaust flaps closed to quieten it down a bit when in sport with the faster gear change!

Sounds the same as what they do to the Astons DB9 Vantage and Volante etc they pull fuse 16 its the first thing they teach you before they hand you over the keys

Yes, I was reading about that. Would be simpler if Lambo did the same, but it was very easy to do, the difference in sound is great, the car actually sounds like a Lamborghini now and not a Prius!

Funny you should say that, a couple of days ago, before I did the mod, I got pulled by a police car, one of those little panda cars, not a traffic cop, on asking what the problem was, I was told that I was driving too fast, I knew I wasn't, I was going approx 30 mph in a 40, my car hadnt warmed up and I was taking it easy. Anyway, I asked the copper how fast I was going if he thaught I was speeding, he just said that he didn't need to know my exact speed, he could tell by the noise my car was making that I was going too fast! What a W****R!!!

Exactly my point. The Lambo will be stopped by the police for the pure fun of it and if you happen to be unlucky enough to be even remotely speeding he will probably end up booking you. A Fiat Panda doing the same speed and he wouldn't bat an eye lid.

Simon driving a Lambo he would have probably got a ticket parked with the engine off. Sometimes I think a degree of jealousy creeps in.

I do try and drive extra carefully around the suburbs. To be fair, I usually get smiles from coppers when they pull alongside at lights. But there is always the odd one who has a bit of a power complex.

i was in friends giallo gallardo in 2007 when they were that little bit more expensive and the police pulled us over in london as we were looking for parking for reasons of terrorism, im not making this up, they were proteecting the mayfair area and we just happened to drive by 4 times, i knew i should have shaved
