Morning, all.

Newton, good luck getting the insurance wrapped up and the hunt for a new one started.

Working from home today, and hoping it won't be too much of an intense day. The challenge of working like a Newton (well, maybe not a full Newton. Only a fool would emulate that man's work ethic!) is trying to just ease up a bit sometimes and just stare off into the distance and think. So this afternoon I hope to sit in the garden and get some quality thinking done.

Morning all, mental weekend for which I will be punished in an hours time by the Spin Instructor! Vomit central!

WFH for the rest of the day and like Felonious it will more than likely involve lots of "Thousand Yard Stare" in the back garden.....

Morning everyone!
I do like all this sunshine :)
Well, that was a good weekend. Myfanwy is now back in perfect condition having picked her up from Emblem. That said, they adjusted the clutch point and I don't like it... I managed to stall the car by not giving enough power quickly enough, and then again trying to reverse up a friends quite steep drive (back to scary reversing maneuvers in a supercar eh?).
Good to see some of you yesterday; I then went and shredded my fingers with my guitar... I clearly need to play it more to have hard fingertips, but my piano usually gets me playing first.

Have fun everyone!

Morning all.

Busy day in the office this morning. Followed by a minor op this afternoon to remove some scar tissue from my head.
Wonder if they'll let me answer emails whilst under the knife? Got so much on today, the timing couldn't be worse!

Have a good one all.

Well pleased to report progress on the insurance front, have actually discovered what they want from me (Hiscox that is) to clear the log jam! Re the bonus policy, I have today discovered that this is actually a separate policy through A-Plan and nothing to do with Hiscox, this will be being processed tomorrow now that the value is settled.

Another bit of news regarding one of my other hobbies; I got LGR today (won't mean anything to most of you) :)

Finally I got to speak to a real person at DVLA this morning about retaining my N3OOF registration number; you cannot put it on retention or transfer it until a full year after the theft, unless the vehicle is recovered but then it is straight forward. However whilst I had a real person on the phone I checked out another reg I have on retention but failed to renew some years ago! It seems I can simply put it on a vehicle and they will only want their £25/year backdated... Fair enough I guess, so I know what number my new car will have for about 10 months anyway, it will mean nothing on a Maserati.

One of those days to forget today really.

Just been to a funeral of an old family friend, granted he was in his 80's and smoked, drunk and lived life to the full.

Just heard also that a 21 year old office girl of one of my close clients lost her battle with breast cancer over the weekend. So sad, get out there and live, there is no time to waste!

Friday, has to let one of my coders go, never had to do that before, it was not an easy thing for either of us.

Oh well, thats my 3....I hope!

Too lazy to go out as it is raining. So a view of the 4th July fireworks from my balcony.
