Morning all, day in the office today in Farnborough and saw a nice Black Ghibli on the way in. A nice short week this week and then off to see Mr Beans for a BBQ round at his lovely abode tomorrow with the family.

All is well in Blighty!

Morning!
In the office again and enjoying the bike rides to recover from the French week of no cheese or wine at all (honest, guv).
Well, I chased up on how Lottie is and where she is... repatriation takes ~14 working days after the UK company are giving all the information for this pickup. IMA Europe still hadn't given them the garage location, so that hasn't started yet! So, speaking with Flux Rescue (UK lot), I made a big long complaint to a very friendly manager who is trying to help me out and was shocked at what I'd gone through. I just had a call back... The French garage fixed Lottie when the part eventually arrived (because IMA hadn't told them that now the car needed returning to the UK). Great, she's fixed. Ah, problem... with this being the case, they are not allowed to repatriate a vehicle that is fixed. So now, IMA have to get me to France to collect my car. Well, I suppose that as I'm working in N France next week and was going to drive over on Monday, I'm just going to change my Eurotunnel booking to a one way and get IMA to fly me to my car. It's in Champagne, so I'll give myself a couple of hours in a local "coffee shop" while I'm there.

Proof that four of us, over one week, we're not excessive...

I thought that kind of consumption was the norm..... Especially for SM'ers!

In other good news I don't have to dash off to Staffordshire today! Yay!
But do once I get back from my honeymoon. All in a good cause though.

Afternoon all, look what's arrived in the post...now how do you accurately drill blind?

I was going to put the Eldorado Cowboy on there but after watching Midnight Cowboy again recently I thought better of it...

Be aware that another strike by French Lorry Drivers is due to blockade the Northern Ports and starts on Monday.

Quite happy that we couldn't agree personal terms with said money grabber

Happy to have got rid of sissoko. Can't believe he played so well in the euros and didn't manage 1/10th of that whilst playing for us.

Sad to have lost Townsend and wijnaldum though.

Well this afternoon/evening went very well indeed, took the KTM to Holbourn, thoroughly enjoyed the ride each way, getting quite into riding it now, feeling easier on the corners, but something like 23 years out of the saddle shows, I do need to try and slow myself but what the heck, here for a good time not a long time. Anyway, I impressed those that needed to be at the meeting so hopefully good things will come from it.

Morning all, my youngest is working with me today, we have a large hole to hand dig in a school on Highgate Hill to replace a rotten leg of a set of swings before the girls are back on Monday for the new school year. Hopefully not to much like hard work but it will take a few bags of cement later I'm sure.

Have fun all...
