Morning!
In the office again and enjoying the bike rides to recover from the French week of no cheese or wine at all (honest, guv).
Well, I chased up on how Lottie is and where she is... repatriation takes ~14 working days after the UK company are giving all the information for this pickup. IMA Europe still hadn't given them the garage location, so that hasn't started yet! So, speaking with Flux Rescue (UK lot), I made a big long complaint to a very friendly manager who is trying to help me out and was shocked at what I'd gone through. I just had a call back... The French garage fixed Lottie when the part eventually arrived (because IMA hadn't told them that now the car needed returning to the UK). Great, she's fixed. Ah, problem... with this being the case, they are not allowed to repatriate a vehicle that is fixed. So now, IMA have to get me to France to collect my car. Well, I suppose that as I'm working in N France next week and was going to drive over on Monday, I'm just going to change my Eurotunnel booking to a one way and get IMA to fly me to my car. It's in Champagne, so I'll give myself a couple of hours in a local "coffee shop" while I'm there.
