A friend works for a firm based in Essex. Thought it might have been that one. Nice photo by the way.

Ta. Shame I didn't have a decent camera, and the hazing on the door was less than ideal. Bit lucky really, I couldn't see the screen at all. Got some other nice ones I'll upload to Flikr at some point

Sweet!!

How did you blag that? Or is this your new ride to work?

Was doing some teaching again at uni. I really wonder if I was like that when I was at uni and whether my tutors thought the same.

Corporate round table for a supplier I've done business with at previous companies. They like to show they value our time and input.

And yes, probably. Pretty sure I was :D

Good morning all

Spurs v Gent at Wembley stadium....
....So let me share my first and last experience at a professional football game. If it wasn't bad enough I had to watch a load of over paid uneducated oinks kit a bit of leather around a field for 90 minutes ... There was something worse than than......Why is it grown men feel it is accepted to use the F word and at one stage the C word while addressing the referee, the other team, their own players and and at one stage their own fans when they started to leave because their beloved Spurs were losing.......all this with families present....The amount of times I turned around and gave these thugs the eye for using such language in front of my children I lost count.....So this is known as the beautiful game...all about who can swear the most at the top of their voice the most. Oh and If I hear one one chant about some chap called Harry Kain being 'one of us' or that they have something called Deli Ally...sounds rather painful to me but I'm sure they can get some kind of cream to clear it up......But my faith in human kindness was restored when a Gent fan at the end gave Alex one of their flags and saying they never expected to beat Spurs and thanking us for hosting them in our country....British football fans take note..this is the way to behave and the 'F' word didn't come out of his month once in all the time he spoke to us. Oh and just top it all off went for a coffee yesterday in a London Pratt Manager and they gave me a cup of coffee in paper cup......wasn't even taking it away....it was to be drank in their establishment....yes a paper cup....What is the world coming to. !!!!!!

Good morning chaps, ahhh the 4 day weekend.
Off to somewhere today to see some of the wife's friends for a few drinks etc. She's calmed down a bit after the F1 launch till I reminded her about Barcelona practice. Motorcycle Racing is my sport but I must admit a bit of envy. The tech that goes into F1 is amazing.

Morning all,

Its supposed to be the weekend but I've been working two hours already. I think I've probably done enough until Monday, except for some paperwork invoices etc. that I'll do tomorrow. Time for the weekend to start. Shame the weather's not as nice as it was yesterday.

@Andy: You have my comisserations. I wouldn't take my kids to a football match because of the language. In a small ground with a quiet crowd you can hear the same coming from the players as well. The words they use to the referee at times would have a Rugby ref giving penalties and continually marching it on 10m until you shut up. The lack of respect shown by crowd and players is a reflection of our times I'm afraid.

Time for a shower then to turn petrol into noise :D

Have a good day all

Morning all. Unfortunately due to the storm in Iceland yesterday our trip to the Blue Lagoon was called off as the road to it was shut due to 90mph cross winds, and three cars were literally blown off the road.
The worst bit is today's trip to see the inside of a glacier has also been called off as the the glacier is currently unsafe.

So we're currently on a coach to do the South of the Island tour.
Alex has already booked us in for a return visit later in the year to see the bits we have missed because of the weather.
