Just arrived at the Farmers Union, Exeter, checked in, pint and a pee as I did it in one hit from home; 3 1/2 hours in the Volvo, no drama and cold tyres when I got here. Think for the moment I have it sorted.

Morning all,

Was going to WFH today but I've nothing I can reasonably be doing here so I need to be in the office. That means a dicey trip this morning on slippery roads. If I'd been doing this trip through the winter I'd have bought some winter tyres. Note made for next year.

Still need to sort something for Mother's day. I'm a terribly forgetful son.

Well yes until the usual tester asked if I had got tired of the old exhaust, to which was met by me flicking a switch and giving it the berries.

The workshop all smiled and the car passed without issue.

This is why you should build a rapor with you mot tester

Exactly all Mechanic's/Technicians/Testers like special cars but we have to adhere to the Government directive ie the Manual but we have discretion on our side.
It's the P155 Takers that make it hard work.
Plus we're a fickle lot so Bags of Donuts and Boxes of Beers welcome.
A bit like the Police Benevolent fund.
