Good morning everyone, day off before working a shift over the weekend. So Ira wants me to have a look at a Z4 in Farnborough, it way over priced so I need the haggling skills of MAF today.

Morning. Supposedly my day off and was going to clean the Strad but work looks like it’s going to ruin that.

Morning world, packing to make a run from Catalan to the French boarder shortly and escape the break up of Spain! Going to Milau to drive a few gorges and the bridge then up to Vichy overnight.

Have fun all...

So will Catalan be in or out of the EU, run for the hills Newton.
Another day another dollar, the wife is beaten, she hasn't worked full time for 20 odd years and is covering 2 weeks holiday.
Was amusing watching her trying to get up as I left!!
Dinner out tonight I think, I'm cooking....Mexican

Morning all,

Another riveting day in Londinium for me today, full of meetings, phone-calls, and consultations!

However, it is Wednesday, and on Friday I've got an all-day reunion bash with old friends from Manchester, which will involve beer followed by large quantities of red meat and red wine. Can't wait...

Technically it will be out but I'm sure Junkett and Murkin will not want to loose another country from their insidious grasp so they'll find a way to 'transition' it to remain in. I suspect the Catalan people will want out though.

Morning all.

Up early (for me) this morning as we have the decorator in to do the nursery and the ensuite and the kitchen and hall way over the next few days.

Seeing the midwife this morning with Alex and then to take her car in for an MOT afterwards.

Not really had the opportunity to do much work this week.

After 'living' with some GTS's I don't think that they are the 'true' progression from the 3200/4200/GS line... too big, not as blindingly fast in a straight line, kept up with one going up hill last week, only beaten by the faster gear changes. So when I get my new garage together I'm going to sort out a few shortcomings due to age on mine. (Bushes, rear tyres, Geometry, exhaust and Lambdas...

So now that I've lit the blue touch paper, I'm going to retire...

Who was driving the GTS?

When we were on our way to Le Mans, Crofty was struggling to keep up with me, Miles and Krishna.
This famous picture was taken by Kev (at an alleged 120mph) where me and Miles were disappearing into the distance.

Morning, all. Well, not quite, but you get the idea. Sitting in the lounge at Heathrow en route to Frankfurt. Having missed a flight last week due entirely to my own stupidity I'm now paranoid about missing this one and avidly watching the departure screens and as I type I've been given a gate at the B-terminals. I'm off!

Morning all,

Lazy start today, as am going for a bike ride with Mrs W in order for her to get used to her new mountain bike. Will then be heading into London mid morning for another fun filled day of meetings...

Morning,

Another day in the office,. Last day for this week though, I'm so glad to be back on 4 day weeks. Lovely drive in with the roof down on the Alfa Spider. Hoping that the clear skies will last and I can go out for a blast after work.

Have a great day all

Morning everyone!
Newton, good to hear you've escaped Catalunya!
I left home this morning and a massive deluge landed on me as I was going through the village. The remaining 4 1/5 miles to work were then dry. I'm thankful for a shower at work and radiators on which to dry everything I was wearing! I'm not thankful to the **** who decided to stop being stopped at his give way point just as I was going through the narrow bit with right of way on my cycle.
Ah well, it's sunny now and time for a pot of tea and some work. Pub tonight.
HapPea Thursday!
