Morning,

Late this morning, I blame it on starting working too early. Need to sort my priorities out ;)

Not sure I'd be on this early if I had a day off. Ok, scratch that I've done it before.

Have fun all

Morning all from the labour ward at Margate Hospital.
Been a few stressful days.

Went out for a few beers on Saturday night after a day of putting the furniture together for the impending arrival of our little one which is due on 6th December.
I get a call at 1am from Alex telling me that her waters have just broke!

Me rushing home getting to the hospital in Ashford only to be told that they are full.
We then get taken to Margate in an ambulance with the blues and twos going.

Since we have been here they have give Alex two steroid injections to help baby's lungs develope quicker, and she has been given medication to stop her contractions.

Yesterday, they said that because it had been 24 hours since the second steroid injection had been give that they will take he off the medication to half her contractions.
They have said that the max term she will go to is 37 weeks which seems very distant as she is only 33 weeks and 6 days.

It's now a case of waiting for nature to take its course. Not sure if they will let Alex go home, which would be a bonus as Margate is almost 50 Miles from our house. If she has no further contractions today they might.

Again. Will just have to wait.

Fingers crossed for the both of you. Hope all goes well.

Cheers Andy. A little progress yesterday. After replacing/ doing up all the jubilee clips on the intake, the car now cold starts on the second attempt instead of the forth. It's going in the right direction.

EGR, MAP sensor, swirl flap leak down test and turbo inspection to find the exhaust leak today, expecting to find more evidence of shoddy workmanship.

Keep a log then buddy for me to use. Good luck......

Interesting stuff Matt I thought the job had been done by someone in Chepstow.
Not good if its a shoddy job as I bet it cost Andy a few bob to get it where it is now.
Did you drive it back to yours okay ?

Yes they were changed back in 2015 when the engine first came out. Remember going down there and them telling that. I believe they were changed a year or so before by previous owner from looking at the history as had to prove it for the warranty that was on the car. But saying that nothing will suprise me now Matt.

Ok thanks Andy, I didn’t see it on the invoice, only have the one with the injectors/pump on.

Have you got/can you get it plus the one with so called service on?

Knackered this morning as didnt get back from Emirates till 2.30am (Haven't done that since - err Spain!). Have to go to site this morning so no lie in but worth it as the lad played well and they got the result they needed.
Hope everything goes well now Mark for the next few weeks.

Morning all - from sunny Dubai.

Family holiday and I am in the office interviewing candidates - how does that work? Hopefully on the beach this afternoon.

Did manage to get to the 148th floor of the Burj Khalifa with my 6 year old yesterday. Amazing being 1,823 ft above sea level looking down on the city.

Morning all,

This sounds like my family holiday. Everyday so far I’ve had at least one, sometimes three, conference calls before 10am...

Still, it’s better than being in the office!

Morning! Time for bacon methinks.

I like that idea.

Morning all,

Knackered today for some reason. Thankfully its the last day in the office this week. Its dry outside so I reckon it'll be the Alfa Spider to wake me up!

Great news Mark.

Have a great day everyone
