She had to catch him up and gave the number to the police whilst on the phone. They have the number though so all good there.

M18 Junction. Stop/start traffic. Lorry just drove into her.

Hello everyone. I'm stuck in schiphol AMS. it's really foggy and my late flight was cancelled after my 7am flight yesterday got me here at 2pm missing most of my meeting. GrumPea.

Schoolboy error travelling at this time of year. I cancel all meetings...... can't rely on travel and best to be home.

Good luck getting that sorted out fast, Mick. What a *****! Glad Mrs Mick is ok.

Stevie, there are at least worse airports to be stuck in than Schipol. I've been stuck there lots over the years. Just imagine if you were at Charles de Gaulle or LAX. *shivver*

Morning, all. Slightly foggy head after an excellent dinner out with the family, including my Mum, last night. A few bits of work to wrap up then off to do a click and collect wotsit from Tescos.

Morning all. (Just).

Finished yesterday so was going to take Joseph and Alex out for lunch but Alex appears to have picked up a sickness bug.

Staying well clear of all that c r a p.

Four days and nights at Thornbury Castle for Christmas... not an plate to wash or turkey to baste.OK it may cost the same as a week in the Caribbean but to be away from all that Christmas stress its far nicer.

Morning all, last day on site today building replacement nets on a custom unit, all very taxing but at least I have Christine helping me today. Volvo transmission failure continues to develop mile by mile I just need it to hang in for a bit longer.

Bleached the beard last night for grandad roles over the next couple of days; bleaching worked but over did the purple (to neutralise the yellow) a bit so it has pink tinges!!!

Have fun all...

Photos, Newton. We need photos :)

Morning forum. Off to collect a turkey and other dead animals later. Cake to ice. Fudge to me. Last bits of food should be delivered by messers Ocado and son this evening. If not it'll e an early Tesco in the morning.

Was persuaded by Mrs Catman to accompany her to a pub in Waltham Abbey to listen to the choir sing carols. Much to my surprise, it wasn't rammed, the beer was top notch and thus a sensibly pleasant way to spend a couple of hours on a Christmas Friday :)

Have a great day, all

Morning All,
The world is going PC mad,
No1 read news bulletin on BBC is Princess Michael apologising for wearing a racist brooch....FFS

Anyhow, the kids are only staying for Xmas day and leaving early boxing day, so can anyone advise on a suitable 5/7 day break anywhere.....

Cool festive look Newton.

Yesterdays trip North was a dream no traffic there and back just missing numerous vehicle fires. Today final preparations and off to collect the beer from the local brewery

Lanzarote, Playa Blanca.

Don’t laugh, it’s lovely and warm, quiet and very reasonable. Has a new marina so attracts a different class of person.

Couldn’t see any discos or clubs, no shite tribute acts just lovely views and very unspoilt. Get a bike out and cycle east along the front there are 6 secret beaches. If you like cats, lockup Freddie’s Cat House on FB, he does Tours.

Afternoon all. Just picked up the turkey, for turkey sarnies.
Christmas is at the MIL but I love a bit of turkey so we've got one anyway.

Now for a stroll to the pub with Alex and Joseph and the dog now that Alex is feeling better.
All very festive.

Dave, recommend all inclusive in Marrakesh mate, still hot enough to get burnt in the middle of the day just about and loads to do in the city if you get bored, pools are cold though. Only a short flight too...

Matt - Freddie’s Cat House sounds like a Nevada brothel. I’m on my way!

Afternoon, all. Been out and picked up a fat bird this morning. It’s a whole lotta turkey.
