I have done some investigating via some other sources... turns out to be an almighty cockerel up in communication, but I'll be having words about that too! Some people just have no idea of how to consider other people before acting!

Morning all. Zag when are you going to stop playing with these monkeys and let us build you a system?

The upgrade wasn't the website it was the Merchandise and Stock system that is used for managing all our product and stock information for stores and websites.

Good morning everyone!

An explosive morning for me! An almighty gun-shot blow-out on my bike's front tyre... so those brand new tyres are effective :-S

Right, so, on Friday afternoon I was informed that a new colleague is starting this morning... in my job. WT actual F??? Along with being told last Monday that another existing colleague is moving into the other half of my job... So, the explosive nature of today is going to continue metaphorically as well as literally. I think it's back to the CEO who seems to be on my side.

So, what do I do here???

Struggle with this Steve. Thet can't have some starting in your job if you are already in it. They would have had to consult with you around why you no longer have a job or why they are moving you to a different role. If this went to tribunal you would win just on what you have said. If they aren't happy with you then they should have already discussed this with you a given you the opportunity to change this. Not sure if from what you say they are making you redundant but if that's the case your role is no longer available. If they then fill that role that you have been made redundant from then they are ****** as legally they don't have a leg to stand on. The only way they could get around that is to change the role so it's something different with a different title. Just from the little you gave said...as above constructive dismissal. I have had experience in this Steve if you want to chat more.

Good morning all.......all that is left of the snow is a sad looking melting snowman on the garden.

Morning,

Another day in the office on the paying job. Spent an hour already this morning on job 2 sorting out some operational issues. Feel better equipped to cope should the sales team manage to sell something now. That said information I get from the partner running sales isn't exactly forthcoming or filling me with confidence. He's off this week so I think I'll prepare my own strategy so that I've got something to push his way when I question him next week. Clue: sell what we currently have, not what you'd like to have in the future.

Glad to hear its sorted Stevie. Would have been a little worrying.

Have a great day all

Morning, all. Stomach finally back to normal but now just knackered. Bloody curry OD. Working at home today. Tons of stuff to do, much of which feels like someone else should be doing it.

Stevie, good. Sit tight and keep your counsel in any case. Given your past discussions with the CEO, there's perhaps the potential for taking on something more / different / more interesting in any case.

Have a good day, good people of SM.

Morning all. Off to Ecobuild in the Excel this morning then off up to Manchester this afternoon, so I'm there for an early start to survey more Marriott Hotels.
The joys of living out of a suitcase for a few days!

Have booked in an interesting phone conversation for this afternoon.

Good afternoon chaps and chapettes!
Thanks for your concern, folks, over my companie's moronic inability to talk or consider talking! I also had a meeting this morning with my immediate boss which has been constructive.
What else... There's a bit of dry road outside... here's hoping I can finally take Myfanwy out again soon.
HapPea Tuesday x!
