Morning all, roof day today! Flat roof on ours and next doors bay windows to strip, add 100mm of insulation, boards and then fibreglass.

Kitchen is 95% there, just trimming to add and then pulling all the film off. Really pleased with the results. All rooms painted, still a carpet to lay and some more lights to change. Also need to clean the house inside and out. So should be ready for estate agents next weekend.

Have fun all…

The progress you make is more like an episode of SOS big build, than most people’s DIY projects

Looking forward to seeing the final result.

Morning all, hopefully the easy part now just hanging the units on the rails that were fitted yesterday day - how did I ever manage without a laser level.

Morning...people who share bushes are the luckiest people. 9 hours sleep here, which was bittersweet. Indy race on later...looking for any excuse not to be out in 105F degree heat with relative humidity of +/- 27000%...but need to mow at some point.

Morning. Bush trimming today.
Front or rear? Regardless, it's good that you keep yourself well-pruned. Oh, and thanks for sharing.

Afternoon, all. A day of Stuff, here. Some new electric sockets fitted (surprisingly, no sparks), some putting stuff back where it was after the winds, some old shite dumped, a stroll around by the water and a couple of steaks warming up to room temp before being barbied. (But not Kenned).

Well, finished putting next doors tiles back on his roof in the dark! Started to rain as I was doing so, as he doesn’t have any felt under his tiles, I couldn’t leave them off! Absolutely cream crackered! Found one big hole next to my bay:

Still need to remedy that one in the morning. My first time doing a fibreglass flat roof myself and on balance I think it is worth the effort.

Morning all and a trip to the medical center for me to have a blood test for the prostate so hopefully my virginity will remain intact.
Bon Journée.

Morning all, just woken up, I think I was a bit tired! Going to take it easy today, got a local emergency repair to do and later to make a repair to the hole in my roof and put my tiles back. Finally to reinstate the ridge.

Have fun all…
