So an Irishman, a Scotsman and a Welshman are in the pub, you might expect an Englishman to be there too but he is still at the World Cup!

Morning all, distinctly wet and windy so handy WFH today.

Good news yesterday middle daughter got her Junior Cert results, equivalent to GCEs, Merits and Higher Merits across the board, GCSE B & As, so happy camper especially as she failed her mocks earlier in the year. Amazing how actually answering the questions even if unsure of the answer helps. This leaves her still on track for her goals just more hard work over the next 3 years.

Morning, you lot. Still in Oslo, jaded but I shall be back home by mid-afternoon. Although a message this morning tells me to expect delays due to weather. Must be that storm with a name. I think that in honour of our fallen comrade the next big, disruptive, noisy, messy storm should be Storm Hodroyd.

For the third time this week I am in the City ao will be on the 42nd floor of someone’s else’s posh office block - later a few of us will find a bar and get the weekend started.

Tomorrow’s weather looks rubbish, so that will work though a list of boring diy jobs

Morning all, off to the new shoot this morning, proper smart with appropriate shirt and tie. Just the one hound as my old dog is officially past it and the younger cocker is recovering from surgery. So just the big Labrador it is. Later a pool session in the kayak so a rather exhausting day.
