Morning all, wide awake now after a night job bringing a train of empties up from Acton to Kettering, ran two hours early so had an early finish, almost certain the taxi driver who brought me back to Rugby on the A14 had illusions of being a Scandanavian rally driver, white knuckle ride all the way home. House now stinks of paint, the Mrs had been busy while I was kipping!

Morning all...public appearance today at 1:30 so making a day of it. Grabbing the girl whose birthday resulted in the giraffe concussion to ride along with ours...dinner out and a shopping trip. Rained yesterday afternoon and evening so my half-hearted desire to mow was thwarted again. Mayhaps the morrow!

70/30 and well overcast here this morning , no real signs of getting 2 consecutive days of sun , if this summer turns out to be another total let down, agreed with the missus yesterday we may well look to move abroad if we can find away to facilitate seeing the kids as often as we would like ..............thought of this for the next 10 years doesn't enthral me at all .

I was supposed to venture down to the Cotswolds in the Biturbo tomorrow for Jack 'Number 27' to film it for his youtube channel, but a couple of things have cropped up and the weather's not looking good anyway so it'll be postponed for another day.
