Good morning everyone and a late start for us which is nice for a change.
Summer is back here which is lovely so hopefully a bit of lazing about in the garden.
My Project Mini Cooper passed it's French MOT for 2 yView attachment 125830ears fault free only comment made to me was what's the smell from the underside of the car so if you use this product beware it lingers for awhile.
Aircon gassed up and all working well so I'm really happy having saved this car from the Crusher.
Have a Great day all.
And there is me thinking that you relied entirely on old engine oil for rust protection ;)

Morning all, my back survived the practice rescues session in the pool, for which I’m thankful. Today I will be cutting the lawn (failed last weekend). Hopefully I’ll get to look at the motorbike engine too.

Have fun all…

Morning. Quick run to Flitwick for surprise birthday lunch for eldest niece. HTF can she be 30?!

Have a good one, all

And it gets worse the older you get , wont seem like five minutes that your turning round and saying HTF can she be 50? should develop into a nice day but we are not there quite yet . was hoping to make a car meet in Beccles but alas the missus is poorly

Need to finish tidying up the “black detail” on the Strad front bumper, I am sure it was originally painted with “blackboard” paint o_O

Am taking my son out in the Panda on some local Green Lanes later, bound to upset the dog walkers who don’t seem to have a clue that motor vehicles are allowed.

Morning all! Day 2 visiting local auction house. Not Sothebys, but a shed on a disused airfield, but some nice stuff.

Bought these yesterday :

Fully operational by the evening:

I inherited my father's Victorian (we think) tantalus, which was always coming to me since he was given it in the 80s. *Very* disappointed to find that only one of the three decanters is actually usable. The stopper on one has massively broken (big lumps of glass at the bottom of the decanter) One has a big crack across the neck and into the body. And one is still useable.

Bit torn what to do with it. As with so much of his stuff it seems to be worth buttons on the open market, but have no idea (apart from eBay) where I might be able to source suitable replacements :( Always wanted to use it but there we are. The one he made for me is still working, but even the decanters from that don't fit in any dimension...

Morning, all...been up for roughly an hour. Made it back to the house right about dusk; packed it in an hour early because the wind was ridiculous and traffic fell off in the later afternoon. Still a good day's work. Battery in QP gave up the ghost...in the drive, so no issues there. Expected that, just as with tires, fluids, plugs, etc. Pouring buckets though so no real outside work to be done. Oh, and have a 4p in-person work meeting...
