Weather a bit different from Karting two weeks ago. Bloody torrential.

Same scene out my windows...been raining since the early morning hours and no signs of letting up. Tuned in to the F1 race at 9a, not realizing our start time was 8a...so backed up and watched from the beginning. Sweet! Have some steaks to toss on the grill later; umbrella will be needed. Hope all are resting up for the week ahead...

Good morning all. Good day at Karting yesterday with Alex just missing out on a podium finishing 4th out of 40. He does love racing in the rain. Back to work today after my COVID. Have a great week all.

Morning. Up with larks today, off on my annual euro parts buying run in the van.

Getting the 10:40 out of Dover to Calais then it’s a hard left off the ferry through Belgium and Holland to meet a chap in Eindhoven to pick up a van load of new Renault 14 panels to complete the set of every external new oem panel except the roof so I can get cracking with the resto. Then off to Arnhem for first night Hotel.

Wednesday, over to Susselbeek on the right hand boarder with Germany to visit the Opel GT factory and probably buy a few bits for the Opel and have a look at their museum. Then head off to Vaandam which is just North of Amsterdam to meet Adnan from AS Motorsport, someone I have been starting to work quite closely with. Have a look round his operation then a night out with him and a few beers.

Thursday, an early start and trek back to Calais for the ferry home.

Morning all builders turned up late yesterday afternoon at 5.30 with a load of materials so hopefully the internal works will be starting this morning.
Ms French off to work and for me cleaning up off the block and associated components on the Cooper S for reassembly of the cylinder head.
Have a Great Tuesday everyone.
