These arrived today £450 all in including delivery. Brembo discs, Pagid pads and new shoes
My original shoes are shot to bits, the pads barely worn - the discs - well, I thought they were not too bad, bit of cleaning up and clearing the vent holes - but generally ok, then I opened these bad boys!!!!
If the old bits are any use to anyone PM me

C, one suggestion is to send them to the guys in Belfast so they always have a set on ready to go, so halving the turnaround time, ie sent out on day........and the guy follwing you his set are then ready for next guy etc....

Ok, can you send them to them with a note stating why? Am sure it will suit them too plus hurry things along for members?

Your old disks might be of use - to a new manufacturer of nothing else.

Did they have much lip on them? Might get someone back on the road with a skimming first.

Note the new ones have bigger holes 3 each line (550 style), rather than the genuine 3200 unit that have 3 then 4 holes per line. The standard ones are inferior IMHO

There is not much lip - the inside of one disc (handbrake bit) is a bit worn as the handbrake shoes had been rubbing - pretty sure the discs are not that old - the fronts are new(ish) replaced before I bought the car but will need to check the documents for the rears.

I agree the 550 style holes look the dogs danglies compared to the blocked up holes on the inside - note to one self, remove front wheels and clean out holes

Got a bit OCD with the brakes - I painted the back plate black as it was a bit rusty, this lead to spraying the calipers after removing the metal bits and polishing them, of course the discs needed to look good so nice silver aluminium colour for them.
The Maserati decal was a few pence of eBay

Good job!

Callipers look nice, what paint did you use for them? Mine are black and I'm thinking of making them blue.

Hycote Very High Temp paint
Euro Car parts - order online and collect from store - much cheaper (no discount in store) don't forget the brake cleaner spray

http://www.eurocarparts.com/high-temp-paint

Available in blue as well

Mine where black and peeling a bit - quick blast with wire brush and keyed up the original paint with wet and dry - the Maserati stickers are on ebay

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121173724352?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

The stainless steel clips and pad holders are removed with a torx bit - they are tight but saves all the masking up they polished up with a bit of chrome cleaner and fine wet and dry to get rid of the caked on brake dust
