It was OK. Not amazing not bad... better than the first few episodes of top gear with Chris Evans that's for sure.

For me what ruined it is probably is the fact that they waited so long to air the show. Pretty much every car they reviewed have become 'old news' and reviewed to death on the YouTube car shows particularly

The holy trinity video would have been shot well over a year ago now at the same time as Chris Harris' last video on YouTube before he moved to top gear

Thoroughly enjoyed that too. Really like CH.

Not that you care but it would be a tie between the Maca and the Fezzer for me based on why I've seen.

Agreed if I had it my way the BBC would scrap top gear and just have Chris Harris On Cars but maybe that won't please the masses.

I can't make my mind up between the P1 and la fezzer but I'd rather have either over the porsche. Although I'd have a Career GT over any of these 3. More I analyse it the more confused I get... good thing I can't afford any of them eh XD

It's probably less than 0.01% of the worldwide population that can afford any car over 100k let alone £1m, I must be really odd, I'd take a QP GTS Granturismo S or a Jaguar XF-R over any of them if they all cost the same.

Show was too long though and the scripted audience sections were not as funny as previous TGs.

Agreed, I assume it's all in the can now where as TG was more topical with the audience sections being filmed in the week of broadcast, A good first week, It's been a while since I saw JC with panic on his face but that braking had him squirming

If I had to take one it would be the P1 but there are many others I would have even the P1s cheaper siblings

Any Macca is a good bet now they have sorted the shortcomings of the original 12C.

Agree Andy...The entry level cars now look fantastic and go like ****....Their isn't a current Ferrari I think i would take over a McLaren these days......Ferrari just seem to overstye their cars these days......(Still love the FF though).

Thanks for the link Matt just watched it down here.
Not my cup of tea they try to be funny but there not really.
Its like being the sober driver when your out with your mates.
Film work excellent for sure.

To be honest Phil I would much rather watch you on track mate as just as much fun and a legend.

Cheers Andy I'm sure the SM forum could put on a far better show international as well with the members we have.
That must of cost a fortune just madness in my opinion.

£4.5m per episode , none of that on a comedy script writer

You're right Phil, it's not funny, just the same, clarkson is an ****, hammond is short and may is slow jokes

It's a combination of their live tour and top gear on a massive budget

Yes - it will launch fully on the 28th November. Probably. Maybe. If anyone needs an invite now, I'll sort it.

Don't get your hopes up - it's a mix of twitter/instagram/blogging, just all car-based. Personally I think the interface works very well when there's only a tiny amount of content, and is absolutely useless when there's loads. Also, they've shot themselves in the foot by enforcing a FB profile to be used as the only way to log in (well, it's not quite the only way for some people...). The main reasoning is that there are only real people on FB, not made-up names and fake people. Really? Had some long conversations about that, but have clearly been wasting my breath.

It will be monetised in the near future, but all the money will be going towards Clarkson/Hammond/May and the VC backers. Content providers won't be earning anything, and that's the second mistake - that's what will kill it.

episode 2 watched.... well i say watched but that's not technically correct because lots of it were fast forwarded ... that is not a great sign when we are only on ep 2
