For the price of a secondhand Granada and a clutch for £250 where do I sign - just need the time machine to take me back to 1992

There is only one car that takes it every time and that is the E-type. Even Enzo Ferrari said that it's only fault was that it didn't have the Ferrari badge. Easy the most stunning design ever made and still the F-type retains some of the original styling, hence why the F-type is THE sexiest car you can currently buy.

Make that 2 Andy. I don't mind the convertible but personally, I find the proportions of the couple wrong & it just doesn't do it for me

Add me to that list, I sort of like the Coupe but really not a fan of the roller skate but in the day they must have looked like the Martians had landed

6 months in and still waiting for my car to be finished. Brake servo failed and had to be rebuilt. Now the timing has completely gone (after a full rebuild) and its had to go back to the engine specialist.

but if based on looks alone I would throw in the flawed genius of the De Tomaso Mangusta I just love the lines from just about any angle

I just love the engine cover on the Mangusta, would have one for that alone. Used to be a green one that did a few MSA events, it was one of the few cars I would have taken home over my own......

I agree about the later coupé and the 2+2 coupé but the early ones are just gorgeous.

My parents went on honeymoon to Italy in my dads then new E-Type Series 1 coupé, got stopped a number of times by the Carabinieri as it turned out just because they wanted to get a closer look at the car!

I didn't either until I saw a mates Eagle E type. Wow, what a car. It's the first E type I've seen that had flames coming out of the tail pipes on the overrun. Awesome!
