Hi all,
My insurance renewal came through today, "your insurance will be renewed automatically thank you"...just short of £800.
Having bought the car half way through my last insurance, I had to pay a top up of £250 to effectively £650 last year, even though the confused.com quote was just over £500, but I didnt want to loose a years NCD.
As usual, go on confused.com, reactivate the quote from last time and the new quote was £470, gave them a call, put through to loyalty dept., helpful guy checked the quote, all the same, protected NCD etc. and offered me an upgrade on the guaranteed hire car from a 1 litre to a car with the same sized engine (lol) for £30 extra, told him I might be having to replace parts of the exhaust with much cheaper after market items , no problem!
Asked about wheel spacers and he said that was on the list of notifiable performance modifications, boooo.
The full quote was £503!
Made me happy anyway.
