One thing I can guarantee - I will not run out of gin. However, the boot of the car will need to be copiously stocked as I am sure my gin buddy MAF will help me punch a hole in the surplus.

We managed to take out 4 bottles last year once we hit the gites. The bigger issue is the fever tree quota. I need to do some maths.

Also need to ensure jam jars and limes are in plentiful supply. Mercifully the gin omelette a la Stuey did not make a reprise last year.

You demolished one bottle when we got to the bbq in the same time it took me to drink 3 beers.

For the first time in my life I felt like an absolute lightweight! :Suicide:

Apologies Geoff - I was throttling back that night.

Jam Jars already sorted and I will find a supply of limes - but not a feature of the French supermarkets. Feel a previous day’s Waitrose run coming in.

Well, Damo, we might have a solution.

As some found last year there is now an Irish Bar run by English in Le Lude:

I have contacted them to see what they can offer but suspect a Friday lash up might be a good starting point....say from noon :)

We still have to work out how to get down to the town, here is the walking route there:

The way home might not be so simple based on previous experiences:

There are some bikes in the shed, mostly kids!

How about we all get Segways on hire?
