Yes Adam....thats about right...Some will pay for the best example though and that seems like a great car...It does ring a bell..That plate I've seen for sale before over the last 6 months or so.......

if you want a concourse GTV Cup then that is the one to go for, personally like i said before, rather get a cheaper one with a little more miles on.

If i bought a GTV cup it would be to add to collection rather than use regularly..i want one with low miles on as i think these will hold their value better in the future...I do think 7k is the max for this car tho..i have a feeling this is the car i looked at in the summer at veloces of london. the plate is very familiar. If it is the car then it was in amazing conditon.

I dont like the phase 3 GTV's to be honest ive driven both and prefer phase 2 and i really dont like the grill on the phase 3 i think you lose the classic look of the GTV front end with it.

I do agree that the phase 2 looks better...........I think you have the price spot on..No more than 7k and as you say I think that car has been for sale in the last year...

Andy, I know now where I've seen that GTV.... http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2460196.htm ...It was up for sale around October ish time. It was a chap local to me in Cardiff and I believe it was up for 6k. Seems like someone is trying to make a fast buck maybe...I know its the same one becaus eof the number plate and the Welsh flag in the corner...

That engine looks superb, amazing condition. I think it is way too much though, 110K miles is a lot, 5-5.5k is what it is worth IMO.

i dont think ive ever seen so many cups for sale. Thats eight i know of now. 5% of the production run!!

This last one posted is very nice although the paint work looks a little dull. Over priced also. 6.5k max.

Hmm well there are enough to choose from now, decision is will this fill the gap until the right GS comes along!
