I have a subscription so get the different cover to what's on the shelves. Front cover this month is a Maserati gt sport.

It's a Maserati road trip....As Maserati heads towards the mainstream, we indulge in some good old grand touring in a Grantourismo Sport..

Also...

Obituary Karl Heinz Kalbfell who died last August in a bike accident - Alfa/Maserati CEO.

Also

Future Icons - Maserati Gransport. Small feature.

Do any of you subscribe to the IPad app Readr?

£6.50 a month and includes Evo, Octane, auto Express together with 000's of other titles, photography, mac, lots of US car and bike mags.

You can also access and read all back copies. Signed up a couple of months ago myself. Great value.

Don't you have to pay extra for the subscriptions, though?

Nope - those listed are included. There are some you need to purchase - Autosport, F1 etc. but majority included in the monthly fee. Can read online or download and read anytime.

Some titles are free only when new issue is published such as F1 magazine and Classic & Sportscar

Can't be doing with the Ipad version, not the same as having the magazine to hand.

I think the recent issues of Evo have been superb, will have to wait until next week to get my copy as i am not a subscriber.

Strangle article on the GranTurismo Sport largely because I can't agree it has a pretty face!

Ours are more elegant, I agree. The new one is ok but I think far more colour-sensitive.. but that's only because I'm not such a fan of the more conspicuous snout. Not yet anway, I'll probably come round to it. If I was speccing a new one it would probably be in the grey / lava colour.

Indeed. It sounds like sour grapes but I just don't like the new nose, black wheels and attempts to pretend that it is a road racer when it is a jolly good GT. Want a road racer then buy the Stradale or a Cayman R.

I also don't get the point about the old front seats not offering support when cornering - I've never fallen out of the car when cornering fast - and the rear seats being more spacious as they are not. Journos increasingly just churn out what the press packs say. Sure that new front seats are not as deep which theoretically helps those in the back but sit in the back of the new car and the old and I feel that the new car is a lot tighter overall.
