Top Gear filming in Loughborough.

We had the Top Gear guys filming outside our factory today on the Grand Central railway! Sadly I wasn't aware of this at the time, as I'd have popped over and mentioned the forum!

Dunno Adam. Frustratingly I only heard afterwards, but the Great Central is a steam railway line, so I suspect it had little or nothing to do with cars, which is pretty much where Top Gear's at these days.

Hi Emtee I would have thought Preswold hall would have been a better venue for the top gear team!! rather than a train station eh!

Hi Bugatti and welcome to the forum. Well yes Prestwold would have offered them some tarmac, but you know Top Gear, it's as much an entertainment program as it is a motoring program, so I guess they were up to some train-track related hilarity. A quick look on their website seems to suggest their Loughborough visit will be shown on the next program.
