Yeah but don't buy that Hurycan! (Haha! that was a cute story he told though)

It's getting better. Definitely better than The Grand Tour - which I couldn't watch - and Chris Evans.

Clarkson was a great writer - and good writing is at the heart of it.

Interesting article on how the Top Gear script used to be put together.

Useless bit of name drop info: I was at school with Wilman and Clarkson - and knew them, they were in the study next door.
Clarkson was incredibly fragile - and would lose his temper in the most dangerous ways.
Wilman was well liked. Super smart kid.
Clarkson wasn't so well liked at all.
They used to spend the whole time listening to Derek & Clive Live (as well as Prog Rock - that's why The Stig listens to Hocus Pocus by Focus etc)
And yes - The Stig is named after what the new boys where called: stigs.

As expected it is getting better and the presenters / writers etc are finding their feet and what works. This was always going to be the case, even if Chris Evans had remained, since his departure MLB is really starting to grate and annoy me, also not convinced about his driving and how much is him? I wish they would drop the attempts to be funny with continuous plant and farm machinery comments.

The race in episode 3 seemed a bit of a waste and other than being a bit of glossy trivia, it didn't add anything.

The two lowest points of this series have been the muck spreader and the pressure washer, both pointless and neither amusing!

Didn't enjoy the Grand Tour, even though I was wanting it to be good, I think I have just grown bored of the format and team.
