Is £236 delivered, a good price for two Falken 452, 265/35/18 tyres. And £200, delivered, for two Falken 452, 235/40/18 tyres?

The Falken 452 is now redundant and has been replaced with the, wait for it, F453.

So, you should be able to get some blinding prices in the remnants of the obsolete stock.

Had Falken 452's on my Fiat Coupe 20vt, and i could not fault them. Huge grip in the dry, and good grip, in the wet. Bargain! And they lasted ages. Had Goodyear, previously, and they were far too soft, and no better, in grip.
There is a load of tosh said about tyres. Some of the budget tyres these days, are just as good, as premium tyres. Avons, at one time, were expensive. Now down, at budget level. Hankook, not bad either. Avon, and Hankook, do some pretty good trackday tyres.

The only negative I have with 452's is they are noisy, but apart from that brilliant.

I had a set on the GS and then the Alfa, but went for Kuhmo's in the end and the perform nearly as good but are quieter.

I'll give the 453's a whirl next time.

My favourite tyre to date is the Goidyear Eagle F1's. Nothing to rival it but could never get the sizes for any Maserati I have owned until I got the GTS. I bought a pair with 4mm used just for a track day and am still running them now and still great. My nearly new PZeros are still on the shelf at the local tyre fitter.
