When we were thinking of tyres Millars in Malvern said they could get the PS5's - no idea on size, etc. They have had good reviews from S2000 owners.

PS5 is the PS4 replacement and not the 4S though. No idea if it is better but it will be designed more for wear and not grip.

Running on Michelins all round now. Check out ATS because they were cheapest fitted and had stock (but not much, Michelin warehouse has none). Car transformed as expected.

Schedule to be fitted at ATS Cheltenham tomorrow. Haven't cancelled yet
Guys were really good at Npton. No impact guns, checked correct torques, checked pressure labels, asked if I wanted the pzeros back as they were nearly new, put the mas valve covers back on. I normally end up having to retrieve them from old valves.

PS5 is not PS4S. From what I have read they are designed to be harder wearing and economical which won't equate to grippy I imagine.
Yes, I am aware - I’m a full PS4S fanboy, but this thread has moved on to ‘what tyres to get as PS4S’s are seemingly unavailable anywhere in the UK at present?’.

PS5 is the new version of PS4, and the reviews say they are much much better.
They are both a single compound compared to the ‘S’ which uses 2 compounds across the contact patch.

I’m hoping PS5S is out soon, and in our sizes.

Although they are significantly more expensive in 20” than my 911 on 19”. Makes me even think twice before binning the PZero’s

Well if you want some more pzeros I have 3. :p I binned the 4th as scrubbed on the inside and had an old puncture repair. I followed a 430 the other day and he had 4S I later found out. As he went over a dusty piece of road you could see it stick to inner section of the tyre and I guess softer compound.

only comparison I can make had 22 inch p zero on Porsche cayenne changed p4s lot better grip in the wet and dry. imagine they will wear quicker though. the p zero both lasted around the 25k miles each

These guys are great, they sourced and fitted Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 285x35x20 K2 fitment , on GranCabrio sport.

For anyone asking night and day difference against the p-zeros.

This is the best setup period, If customers agree i always go for Stradale sized Michelin PS4.
As a alternative Bridgestone Potenza RE070 are OK too, and often quite a bit cheaper.
