Ugly as Sin and Just as Tempting - for SZ lovers

I was doing a spot of clearing out today and stumbled across a folder full of clippings I'd kept about the SZ.

I particularly liked the late Russell Bulgin's work and enjoyed this article, here's a scan for you SZ lovers:-

Well you all know where my heart lies, this as with many other of the launch articles all get to the same point. If you want to understand the SZ you have to drive it. Even now after over 40k miles everytime you turn in to the first corner at speed you get that big smile and realise just how good it is.

My favourite tag line from the original press articles is " Would you spend £40k on something as ugly as this? After driving it, we would!!"

With the shape of some modern cars the styling is almost 20-30 years ahead of it's time!

Absolutely. I loved it from the off, and I think it has aged very well. Just look at what was on sale in 1990; Ford were still making Escorts, Nissan were still making Bluebirds, Rover were still flogging the Metro.

No, this was streets ahead.
