Wanted: Gransport carbon fibre steering wheel

I know a gentleman who was looking to manufacture these, that's about your only chance. I'll contact him tomorrow and see if he's still on the case. He was going to take your 4200 steering wheel and send a remanufactured GS type wheel back.

Not sure about it which is why I didn't pursue it. He was talking £600 or so. They're almost £2000 new I believe.

I bought a used gransport steering wheel from eurospares 6 years ago for £400 , then they were £800 new so 6 years later they are £1000 plus vat about right i suppose

Quite rare to get a gransport being broken

But not under Gransport......under Gransport, your link, it just says leather, not Carbon....

Just had a look at eBay.com, and there are a couple of carbon wheels:

But they are not GS carbon wheels! Notice no top aluminium ring, the GS wheel is quite different, and it appears to be the cheaper one on Eurospares!

Thye only made two steering wheels for the GS both are the carbon ones with the tick alluminium center ring , the cheaper one is black leather and the the other they quote for is for a particular special order coloured leather

It hurt me and was pure vanity to pay £400 for a steering wheel 6 years ago , £1000 i agree thats madness

They occasionally come up on eBay/eBay US. Can't remember the prices but would think they'll be in line with the above - i.e. dear!
