i want to get my clutch reconditioned, i could do with someones old clutch to send away, or any garages known to have the old clutch not thrown away yet?

2009 4.7

plus, i was told there were 2 different clutches, but i can only find 1 listed on eurospares, anyone know?

Are you sure this is a good idea? Has there even been a successful reconditioning, despite? Despite all the claims, we've never seen any long term evidence.
Seems like a risky thing to me, although I guess you'll be doing some of the labour yourself?

Well iv spoken to some places and they said it will be as new, so really shouldn't be an issue

That's what they *say*. That's what they all said about the 4200 clutches. Not one has come back after the event and demonstrated it working properly and for a long time. Yes you're gonna £750 but I'd look at the labour required to take it apart and put it back together again if it fails.

Wish you the best though. If it works, I suspect there will be GTS and 4200 owners queuing up....

Well above link specialises in Ferrari clutches, and races them too, I'm going to give it a try for my self :)

Very few F1 style cars on that list though (as far as I can tell). I'm no Ferrari expert but I reckon only the F355 was F1. Might be worth asking how many of them they've done....

Well I researched and as long as they use standard material not Kevlar shouldn't have an issue, f1 vs proper manual, only real issue is the bedding in, and seeing as I won't be using Kevlar, shouldn't be an issue

Yes give it a go Beau here's hoping it works out there is no reason it shouldn't work. Is it just the plate refurb or is it the spring tangs and cover plate surface too?

I'm not entirely sure what they do, but they offer friction plate refurbishment for £125 or full refurbishment for £450, it does say about the cover surface plate is skimmed, and then measured and shimmed behind so it's the same thickness

If my flywheel/pressure plate look ok, I will just get the friction plate done
