Morning,

couple of things please. firstly and recently i have heard water swishing around in the front of the car, on closer investigation it seems that i have a build up under the front windowscreen under the plastic protector and also in the front wheel arches, has anyone else had this issue, where is the drainage as i assume it must be blocked. The second question is around removing the windscreen wipers mainly the middle connector which blocks you from removing the plastic protector. I have removed the plastic cover and bolt but it seems locked down and before i use force i wanted to ensure i am not doing something i should not!

Any advice greatly appriciated

Thanks, can anyone confirm that the row of holes in the first picture on the right hand side are drainage holes please? If so mine were blocked
also has anyone tried pouring drain unblock down or would it likely cause more damage than good?

I don't think those are drainage holes. Seems overkill.

I'd not use drainblock either. Strong cable ties are pretty good. Stiff enough to work, felxible enough to go round corners.

Or an air line if you have one

There is a row of holes by the bonnet stays, piece of stiff wire (with the end protected) or I have used a thin drain coil, less than 5mm in diameter, watch your getting it all comes rushing out right by the wheel!

Watch there is not a joining piece half way down, Merc did this, which came loose while unblocking and flooded the interior, how do I know..... :(
