Weak euro...........strong pound, how has it affected you?

Not been great for us either. Lots of business from "new" Eastern European countries who are now demanding payment in Euro to avoid the exchange to GBP. Still, maybe it will make importing a left hooker 911 from Germany viable again soon!

Blummin' nightmare. About half of my business is in Euros, but our company's base currency is proper pounds Sterling, so we're getting spanked all the time (and not in a good way).

Winners and losers, swings and roundabouts. Could open up a whole debate on EU, monetary union etc. but...... No.

Works very well for me, all the prices here have effectively reduced by 20% for me, with the exception of parking at the airport, which is payable in Swiss Francs only, and that's gone up 20%.

Fuel prices here have risen though, due to the weak euro against the dollar.

Expectations are for the euro to fall further, so I'd personally say it's not the right time to buy a property here. My opinion only, naturally.

This is now 60K cheaper than it was last year. Not that it really affects me at all.

I had the very same conversation with a friend about that on Friday. It's not 'cheap', but it's good value if it's a good car. Sadly, it's way out of my league, anyone fancy 10% each?

I could probably go 1% at the mo! Just need to find another 89% :goodnews:
